This is our VERY LAST fifty-two fridays post. WOW! I can’t believe its been a year! This last one was hard because I have a LOT of New Year’s resolutions this year, but I don’t want to bore you and decided to only share a few that are on my list.
My first one is to practice the piano and learn to play better. James and I bought a used piano in June and I have sat down only a handful of times to play. I really do dream of being really good someday!
2. My second resolution is going to be even harder than the first! I am a lover or chocolate, candy, bread and all things delicious. I rarely eat salad, vegetables, and occasionally fruit. my eating habits, are rather bad. This also, sadly, gets passed down to my kids. BUT I’ve ran into too many people in the past year that have made a big difference in how I want to eat and how I want my family to eat, starting with STEPHANIE MOORE, who is in our fifty-two group. She gave me some good info on what her family does and although it was inspiring to me, I haven’t been able to to bring it into full effect yet. I have also read a few REALLY good books lately that talk about nutrition and why we need to stop eating a lot of the crap we are eating. But one of my favorites, is a set called Eat for Health by Joel Fuhrman. Now I am not going to lie, alot of the recipes in this book look a little crazy and I don’t even know what half of the stuff is, but some of them look doable and I like these books because they take you in stages of eating and you don’t have to do it all at once. Now you know my crazy goals for this year, now lets see if I can actually stick to them! Hope you all have a wonderful New Year’s!
