Finally! I got Elle to cooperate a little better, but I can’t take all the credit, because my friend Stephanie came along and I think Elle was trying to impress her (which worked out great for me) She also tried to show her how many different poses she could come up with thinking this is exactly what we were wanting (which was a little frustrating). Oh well! I got just as many cute ones as funny ones. Unfortunately, I only saw about 1/4 of her session because my main shooting card I was using somehow became damaged and her images were sadly lost:( These are the few I got.

I’ve been doing a lot of boy newborn sessions lately, so I was excited to finally get to do a girl one. Isn’t she sweet? She was such a tiny little thing too! She was an angel during the shoot, very sleepy. They grow up so fast. I can’t believe my little guy is over a month old now. I love to do these newborn shoots in my clients homes because it just gives the pictures such a special feel don’t you think?
And this one kind of got me a little choked up…I might have shed a tear

So, I love my clients! This family didn’t dissapoint at all:) They were so fun to work with (even though it had to be close to 100 degrees outside). We were all dripping with sweat by the end of the shoot. Little Miss C was such a trooper too. She still gave us smiles up until the last shot. I really do love photographing one year olds because they haven’t quite embraced the walking/running that an 18th month old owns. You don’t have to chase them around and they usually are pretty content to smile, sit, stand. Miss C is having her first birthday this weekend! Happy Birthday little girl and thanks Amber for letting me be part of your family session! You guys rocked it!

Hueys is probably one of my favorite Memphis local restaurants. I love their Nachos, I could eat them every day. Not to mention their Huey Burger, its delicious:) I was going through some older pictures and this one made me Happy. Happy and Hungry.

This is what we’ve been up to! Jack Henry was born last Wednesday morning. We love him, OH so much! He has made us very happy and are enjoying him thoroughly. Just a few quick pics from the hospital.

James’s parents live in Jackson Tn (an hour away) so we visit frequently. His dad has chickens, geese, a goat, a pig, rabbits, all the stuff that kids love. This past time we were down there we got to see a new batch of baby rabbits. Elle was in heaven of course, picking the white one as her favorite. James loves the chance to share a few of these experiences with her because this is what he grew up around. Elle also helped papa pick vegetables out of his garden and feed the goat. It has been fun being around family here in Tn and I know Elle will always have these fond memories for years to come:)
